Some images from the 2008 NatureNB AGM held on the Acadian Peninsula, hosted
by Club de Naturalistes de la Péninsule acadienne on June 20, 21 & 22.

We enjoyed many outings ... and many mosquitoes enjoyed us :-)

highlight for some was to visit a protected Piping Plover nesting site with
Lewnanny Richardson (photo at left).

Savannah Sparrow (above) and a Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow were also seen at
the same location.

At another location as we walked along a well used ATV trail on a beach, Merv
Cormier and I photographed another pair of Piping Plovers, which seemed
uncomfortably close to the trail (as was their nest). We contacted
Lewnanny's team so that this undocumented nest site could be protected as well:
